Trump Campaign Senior Advisor Attends Event with Neo-Nazi

On January 14, 2019, neo-Nazi Jovi Val attended an event at the Women’s National Republican Club. Kimberly Guilfoyle, Senior Advisor to the Trump 2020 presidential campaign and the girlfriend of Donald Trump, Jr., was the keynote speaker. Val posed for a photo with Guilfoyle while wearing a Proud Boys hat, signaling his membership in the hate group. This was just nine days after Val co-organized a White Civil Rights rally with Unite the Right organizer Jason Kessler, in support of James Fields (the man who murdered Heather Heyer).

The photo of Val and Guilfoyle is believed to have originated from Val’s Instagram account, which has since been shut down. This photo matches a photo from Guilfoyle’s Instagram account, depicting her wearing the same outfit as in the photo with Val. Guilfoyle’s caption states that she was there as the keynote speaker at the Women’s National Republican Club. She did not respond to questions about the photo of her with a neo-Nazi.
