Neo-Nazis, White Nationalists, and GOP State Reps Rally in Olympia, WA, Against Stay-At-Home Order

Washington State Representatives Matt Shea, Jim Walsh, and Vicki Kraft — all Republicans — rallied alongside white nationalist groups Patriot Prayer and Three Percenters in protest of the state’s stay-at-home order. All three elected officials spoke at the rally, alongside Patriot Prayer leader Joey Gibson, who has been sued for leading violent attacks against anti-fascist activists.

At least one rally attendee was spotted wearing a Sonnerad, or “Black Sun” patch, which is popular among neo-Nazi groups, and is inlaid onto the marble floor of a German castle that the Nazi Party used to train S.S. officers in antisemitic ideology. This rally took place the same day as an anti-lockdown rally in California, also attended by Three Percenters and other white nationalist groups.
