Ohio State Rep. Uses Antisemitic Dog-Whistle to Attack Jewish Department of Health Director

After Ohio Department of Health Director, Dr. Amy Acton, extended the state’s stay-at-home order until the end of the month, GOP Ohio State Representative Nino Vitale lashed out, calling her a “globalist.” Dr. Acton is Jewish, and “globalist” is an antisemitic slur frequently used by Republican politicians, from Donald Trump to members of the U.S. House and Senate.
